Antioxidant Cocktail Diet!

upset, lower your daily doses of each ingredient, and gradually increase back to the original doses over the next
three to four weeks. Try to purchase capsules instead of hard tablets, as the nutrients will be assimilated better
by your body.

A sample menu to follow while on the
Antioxidant Cocktail Diet:
Breakfast:
2 eggs
1 slice whole-wheat toast, 1 tsp butter
1 banana
1 cup green tea, water, or
coffee, sweetened with Stevia
Note: You may also substitute your
breakfast with a low calorie, low carbohydrate, high protein shake if desired. Add some frozen strawberries,
blueberries, or a banana to the shake.
Try to find a product without artificial sweeteners. Use Stevia as a sweetener as
desired.
Lunch:
1 Boca burger, 1 slice low fat
cheese, 1 tsp. lite mayo, 1 tsp. mustard, lettuce, tomato, and onion on a
whole-wheat bun
1 cup steamed
vegetables
1/2 cup red grapes
1 cup green tea or lemon water,
sweetened with Stevia
Dinner:
4 oz. grilled chicken or 3 oz.
grilled steak
1/2 cup brown rice
1 cup steamed vegetables with 1 Tbs. low-fat cheese
1/2 cup blueberries or strawberries
1 cup green tea or lemon water,
sweetened with Stevia
Choose Two Snacks
Daily:
1 cup fat-free plain yogurt, add
¼ cup mashed berries and sweeten with Stevia if desired
6 almonds, ½ apple or
pear
1 oz. low fat cheese, ½
apple
4 whole grain crackers, 2 tsp.
nut butter
